I admit that I have never been a fan of the style where a speaker is looking directly at camera, and then the shot cuts to a side angle of the speaker, still talking to the same camera.  As the viewer, this creates a huge disconnect.  "I thought they were talking to me!  Now who are they talking to?"  This episode suggests other ways to possibly handle this situation, unless of course that is exactly the style you are going for!
